Tranzac Mummer's Play 21:00 Toronto, Tranzac Club
[The Tranzac Christmas Party (formerly the Parry Family Christmas Party) has included a Mummer's Play for some years now. For the last dozen years or so this has been written, directed and performed by the children of Toronto's Folk Community. This year's play was adapted and directed by my niece, the world famous Madison Watson.]

We will try to avoid 'pirate-acting', and find that fine point that lies near the intersection of self-absorption, well-meaning earnestness, drunken abandon, reverential traditionalism, and nihilistic, dada-inspired, audience-responsive street theatre. ]
